Ann Haberl

I've been painting landscapes in oil since I was 9 years old when I walked with my best friend to the back porch of a neighbor for painting lessons. I have been fortunate to also have many of my own art students to share this joyful work with, as I taught every age group in lots of different schools. My paintings have been in many art shows and are in both private and public collections.

I use my own photographs as references; some taken from the car window, as we travel around the midwest, or from a row boat or a kayak.

I paint landscapes because they delight and calm me, filling both my heart and my spirit.
