If you wanted to find Cathy when she was a young girl, you wouldn’t look in the usual places. You would have to look up, way, way up to the treetops. There Cathy would perch for hours, gaining as a child the kind of perspective one only can among the ancient, the arboreal.

These days Cathy is the one looking up–with her camera. Her photography and resulting art asks us to take a different view of the world, to slow down enough to notice the beauty all around us. Cathy's distinctive technique reveals the soul-felt, but otherwise unseen energy in nature.
