ABOUT THE ARTIST

I'm a Madison-based illustrator, lettering artist, and designer who has been making art for as long as I can remember. Through my brand La-La & Co, I bring my artwork to the world in the form of stickers, art prints, tote bags, and mor —original, human-made designs rooted in Wisconsin pride, the natural world, and the kind of everyday magic that makes life worth celebrating. Whether I'm working with an iPad, a computer, a set of watercolors, or whatever art supplies happen to be within reach, I'm always creating something. Art isn't just what I do—it's how I make sense of the world.

CREATIVE PROCESS

I can't imagine life without creativity—I create, build, and make things happen, and that drive shows up in everything I do. Most of my inspiration finds me when I'm out in nature or spending time with horses, where I slow down enough to really notice things: the way light hits a wildflower, the textures and colors of the world around me. I work across a range of mediums—digital illustration, hand lettering, watercolor—and I love the way each one brings something different out of an idea. From the first rough sketch to the finished product, every piece is made with intention and a whole lot of heart.
