ABOUT THE ARTIST

I have been working with photography since the early 2010s. I am an architect with degrees in Art History, Architecture, and Preservation Studies. This has focused my work on cities and their surrounding landscapes. The scale often varies from large representations of the streets and landscapes to the smaller details in buildings. I think of my photography as a way to interpret and reinterpret the art of the world around us, both natural and human-made.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Influenced by his background in architecture, art history, and preservation studies, Mike approaches photography as both documentation and interpretation. His work focuses on revealing patterns, structure, light, and detail within natural and built environments, encouraging viewers to see familiar places from new perspectives.
