ABOUT THE ARTIST

Nyx Aurelia is a digital artist and illustrator in an intersection of high fantasy, mythology, games, and anime, creating art with a mysterious, quiet, and dark mythos. She is building her own universe project “ITERATION”, a dark cosmic fantasy told through her original paintings, characters, and written lore. On the side, she makes fanart of her favorite games & anime and occasionally freelances for TCGs, TTRPGs, and books.

CREATIVE PROCESS

My digital artworks are hand-painted from a blank canvas. Influenced by previous experience in traditional painting and watercolor, my style blends the focus of polished realism with expressive brushstrokes and textures for a sense of presence and movement.

No AI is ever used. I currently draw on a Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet and Paintstorm Studio as my drawing software. All of my painting process videos and timelapses can be viewed at my YouTube channel.
