Originally hailing from San Diego, Tonya currently resides in Wisconsin, where she works as a hair and makeup artist throughout the Midwest and beyond. With three decades of experience in the fashion industry, she has honed her craft in major cities such as New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, and Los Angeles. During the pandemic, Tonya sought a creative outlet to maintain her sanity and began exploring painting, focusing on her favorite subjects: rock and roll icons. As a lifelong admirer of rock and roll, her passion for depicting famous faces culminated in this exhibition and has led to her work being featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Additionally, Tonya's art has been selected for numerous juried gallery exhibitions across the Midwest and California, and she has participated in various art shows.
