About this agreement

These terms govern the internal artist-onboarding application operated by HawleyWorks, LLC, doing business as Madison Art Market (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The application connects artist information submitted through Jotform with our administrative checklist, Shopify artist records, and QuickBooks Online vendor records. These terms apply to authorized users of the application. They do not replace an artist’s signed vendor or consignment contract or change commission rates, payment terms, or artwork rights under that contract.

Authorized use and license

We grant authorized HawleyWorks personnel and approved service providers a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use the application solely to administer Madison Art Market artist onboarding. Access is limited to the accounts and functions we authorize. Users must not share credentials, access records without permission, bypass access restrictions, or use the application for unrelated purposes.

Artist records and connected services

When enabled, the application supports processing verified artist submissions, checking onboarding status, preparing approved Shopify artist information, checking for existing QuickBooks vendors, creating missing vendor records, and recording completion and record identifiers. Users must follow our approval process and verify uncertain or conflicting information before making changes. Artist biographies must be preserved as submitted, except for clearly identified spelling corrections permitted by our editorial rules.

Connecting QuickBooks requires authorization from a person with authority over the company account. Jotform, Google, Shopify, and Intuit services remain subject to their own terms and availability. Vendor creation does not itself initiate commission payments, authorize bank transfers, or complete banking enrollment.

Privacy and ownership

Information handled through the application is governed by the Artist App Privacy Policy. Use of the application does not transfer ownership of an artist’s biography, photographs, artwork, or other submitted material. Publication and use of artist content must remain within the permissions granted to Madison Art Market.

Availability and responsibility

The application is provided for internal administrative assistance on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Authorized users remain responsible for reviewing records, resolving errors, and meeting obligations under artist contracts. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending access and changes

We may suspend or end access when it is no longer authorized or these terms are violated. An authorized administrator may revoke the QuickBooks connection through QuickBooks’ connected-app controls. Disconnecting stops future authorized access through that connection but does not automatically erase records already stored in connected systems. We may update these terms as the application changes and will revise the effective date on this page.
