ABOUT THE ARTIST

I have never not been an artist, in the sense that I see the world as a perfect design. I studied art concepts and applications at University, and have taught those concepts to all ages as an Art Teacher. From an early age I was fascinated by the way colors play with and against each other, and when I discovered the inter-play of colors and light in glass, I was hooked. The outcome of that discovery is my current work.

CREATIVE PROCESS

I am fascinated by the reflection of glass colors as they blend with each other. I began creating with glass in stained glass panels, and moved beyond that when I wanted more freedom of design.
My work now demonstrates design and color interacting - a goal that combines all off my previous
exploration. And, that I enjoy very much!
