Linya Huang

I am a daily creativity do-er whose journey started in watercolor painting in 2014. Following the pursuit of love with a "he" who was born in Watertown WI, I moved to D.C. in the same year. This began a new chapter in my life, as i had lived in Taiwan for my first 4 decades. Unconsciously, I started painting less and exploring mixed media with natural found materials, such as pressed plants. I initially experimented with processes for drying/pressing plants and creating collage art from such organic materials. My on-going passion since has blossomed further into reusing and recycling things around the house that trigger the creative mind.
