It’s never too late to start painting. I started acrylic painting in 2019 at age 69. Previously I had experimented with watercolor painting, collage art, and quite a bit of zentangle art, as well as writing poetry. Watching acrylic pouring videos on YouTube, I was inspired. Always being open to new ideas and expanding my mind, watching the paint flow let new ideas come in. All of my paintings are original one of a kind artworks. All of my jewelry is made from the paint drippings and “skins” from my paintings and from practice and smaller canvases. Doing the paintings is me joining in endless creative expression and the jewelry is very relaxing and meditative for me.
