ABOUT THE ARTIST

Living with nature is both apriority and a vocation. This has led to painting naturescapes for over forty years. Lily pads are especially compelling subject because of the visual and metaphorical qualities of their growth cycles and environment. I am led to paint images that will speak to all.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Every year I take reference photos. I have thousands. When one says paint me, a collage process starts to add clarity. When in focus, a painting begins.
